Welcome! My name is Jaime, and I’m a dedicated pet care professional proudly serving Carlisle, Newville, Mount Holly and Boiling Springs. I specialize in pet sitting and customized animal care services for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments.
I hold a Master Dog Trainer certification from Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers (2025) and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Behavior from Penn State (2023). My background in both animal behavior and hands-on care allows me to understand each pet’s unique personality, needs, and motivations—because no two animals are alike! Beyond formal education, my most important qualification is my genuine love for animals.
I have had the joy of caring for and learning from many types of animals, including horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. This diverse experience has given me a deep appreciation for the unique personalities, behaviors, and needs of all animals.
My professional experience spans a wide spectrum of training and care. I have worked with “low-energy” breeds such as English Bulldogs, as well as high-drive dogs, including Belgian Malinois trained for narcotics and detection work. I’m also experienced in administering oral and topical medications and caring for pets with medical needs, including cancer, FIV, and FELV. I have worked with animals of all ages.
I am the owner of Canine Compass LLC, a professional dog training business based in South Central Pennsylvania. Through this work, I have helped pets and their owners navigate challenges such as aggression, fear, and anxiety. I understand that some pets need extra patience, trust-building, and tailored guidance to thrive—and I am committed to providing that support!
At the heart of my philosophy is a simple belief: no pet is “bad.” Every animal deserves love, understanding, and attention. My goal is to provide the care, training, and companionship your furry friend deserves while keeping their well-being and happiness at the forefront.
